Gaillardia Country Club The new year-round Gaylord Learning Center at Gaillardia includes an enclosed driving pavilion with four heated hitting bays and a fully enclosed instructional suite equipped with the latest teaching technologies, including V1 Golf's swing analysis software. The short-game training course has nine target greens configured in a serpentine pattern that range in distance from 20 to 140 yards. And the greens-and-bunkers complex - modeled after the peerless practice facility at Augusta National - simulates diverse lies, distances and required stances. Our two practice greens for pitching and sand play are 5,000 and 8,500 square feet presenting approach scenarios from "demanding" to "forgiving."

As the centerpiece of the Gaillardia golf experience, the Gaylord Learning Center enhances a completely renovated 7,240-yard, 18-hole championship links-like course that features an expanded practice range and short-game facility, all designed by golfing-great Tom Kite and his firm, Kite Bechtol Russell Golf.

By design, the Kite firm has elevated the quality of the course to a level not found in our region of the country. To that end, the Gaylord Learning Center reflects Mr. Kite's love of the game and his dedication to improving the learning and playing of it.
